Gay Bathhouse at 56/58 Widmer Street (before 1974 existed as The Finnish Steam Bath). The Barracks was one of  four Toronto bathhouses raided on February 5, 1981, when common bawdy house charges were laid against keepers and 286 found-ins. The text layer added to the photo replicates the sign inside the entrance.
